The project, with a total investment of 50 million yuan, encompasses newly built internet-famous attractions such as the hot spring Jurassic drifting river, rainbow slide and large hot spring village, as well as renovated hot spring swimming pool hall and other ancillary facilities. 

 

Jiahe Hot Spring has a long history. It’s said that when Emperor Yan taught people farming activities in Jiahe, he used hot spring water to cultivate grain seeds and do other such production activities on the banks of Zhongshui River. 

 

Based on the profound culture and Red tourism, it has attracted many tourists around the country, making Yuzhong Hot Spring popular. 

 

The No.1 water well of Jiahe Hot Spring is at a depth of 2,500 meters, and No.2 Well in the Devonian strata at a depth of 3,018 meters with a geological age of 400 million years. 

 

Among them, there are huge white marble veins between 900 and 2,200 meters underground. The water temperature keeps above 53 Celsius degrees all the year round, and the water yield reaches 10,000 tons per day.  

 

It contains abundant minerals and more than 20 nutritional trace elements that are good for human bodies, as well as rich active calcium that is easy to be absorbed by human bodies. 

 

At the same time, the content of fluorine and sulfur does not exceed the national mineral water limit standards, making it a “mineral spring” that can be directly drunk. It also has a very good effect on improving beauty, anti-aging, softening heart and cerebral vessels, promoting the acid-base balance of the human body. 

 

In recent years, Jiahe County has made the best of precious hot spring resources to vigorously promote the construction of Yuzhong Hot Spring City. Two experience venues promoting Jiahe hot spring have been put into use. The complete supporting facilities and venues make the hot spring experience rich and colorful. 

 

To take scientific protection measures for the sustainable use of hot springs, an underground hot spring water resource protection zone in the water source area was set up, dynamically monitoring and recording the water level, water temperature, water quality and water volume, so as to ensure the sustainable development of the hot spring industry through scientific and authentic data. 

 

Next, Jiahe County will invest 500 million yuan to build a hot spring mineral water plant, operate a market-oriented traditional Chinese medicine and health center, and cultivate new business formats, in a bid to promote the integrated development of hot spring with wellness, high-end mineral water, and modern agriculture.
